Mentorship and Coaching

Unique to MBMM is our vocation work: together with immigrant Pastors and immigrant and refugee leaders in ministry, our Executive Director Rev. Dr. Mar Imsong is a gifted coach and a mentor. Together with Refuge Advocate and Cultural Advocates various mentorships and coaching programs are tailored each according to the individual’s Coaching through the ordination process, and mentoring in establishing collaborative places of worship, navigating conformance to state and federal regulation or immigrants church, enabling newly arrived immigrants to be leaders in their own community, coaching cultural adjustments are few of the program that MBMM implements. Executive Director also frequently visit local churches for preaching, attending anniversaries and celebrations. Meet with ethnic church and pastoral leaders for their specific needs, and together monthly, he work with these leaders to help them in their ordination process, with articles of incorporation of their church, negotiating with host church for sharing worship space, etc. I also teach Baptist Theology, and presently am assisting 8 students to complete the requirements for ordination who are in the process of ministerial standing.
